We originally began making our own sausage because we were not satisfied with store bought sausage. The texture and flavor always left something to be desired. We thought that with a little practice, attention to details, and a focus on quality ingredients we could come up with a great product and are confident that we accomplished our goal.
We are a small processing operation, and like so many others we started in our basement. It began as a hobby and a love for making and sharing fresh homemade sausage, beer, wine, and cheese with our friends and family. We have also always enjoyed smoking meats and poultry for family gatherings and holiday parties.
In 2013 The Brat Barn was born and started expanding. We have now moved into our new USDA Inspected commercial kitchen which is still located on the family property.
We take pride in the fact that we still operate with the same family morals and values and think of all our customers as family.
Our primary goal is to produce top quality affordable products that keep our customers coming back year after year.
