Our Polish are pre-cooked in the smokhouse and only need to be re-heated.

Simmering:

  • Place Polish in a pan of cold water that just covers the polish and bring to a low simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Steaming:

  • Pour 1/2 can of beer and a small slivered onion in a crock pot set to high. Elevate the Polish so they are above the beer and onions and are heated by the steam of the beer and onions

Pan Frying:

  • Place Polish in a preheated pan with a few Tbsp. each of both water and oil and cook only as long as necessary to heat through.

Grilling:

  • Place them on a pre-heated grill just long enough to heat through.

Optional:

  • Traditional cooking method is to place polish either whole or cut up into pieces into a pan with both sauerkraut and potatoes. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until heated through and browned on top.

Polish Sausage are pre-Cooked in the smoker and ready to serve. They only need to be heated through before serving if desired.
